Direct Debit Details
- Seacliff Hockey Club BSB: 085-333 Account No: 205009025
Credit card surcharge
- Any payment by credit card will attract a credit card surcharge of 3.0%.
U21
- This is for seniors over 18 but under 21 who do not qualify for the Concessional fee.
Concession
- This is for senior (i.e. over 18) players whose main income source is through government benefits, for full time students, apprentices or trainees.
Transitional team
- This is designed to allow for junior players, usually U18, to also play senior on a full time basis. This fee covers the fee for both seniors and juniors and is designed to encourage juniors to commence their senior careers. The allocation to a senior team will be based on ability.
Junior fees
- Fees relate to the team in which the person is playing, not the actual age of the player. E.g. an U15 playing U18 will pay the U18 fee.
Second team
- The cost for playing in a second team is set only to recover the Team Fee levied by Hockey SA.
- The second team fee will only apply for juniors who play in two junior grades, seniors who also play in the veteran’s grade, or goalkeepers who play in a second team as a field player.
- For juniors, the full fee is for their age group, with the second team fee being for the second team (i.e. an older age group). If a junior plays juniors and seniors they will be charged the Transitional fee.
- For seniors playing veterans, the full fee is the senior fee, with the second team fee being the Veteran’s fee.
- For goalkeepers, the full fee is the higher grade, with the second team fee being the lower grade.
- The second team fee will only apply where the player is a permanent member of the second team. Casual ‘fill-ins’ would not need to pay an additional fee.
Part time players
- For Members who only play on a part time basis, a Club Membership fee and a ‘per game fee’ is payable.
- The basis of the calculation is that a full season is played once a player plays more than 75% of the minor round games. For seniors there are 18 minor round games, therefore a full season is 13 games or more; for juniors there are 14 minor round games, making a full season 10 games or more.
Family package
In recognition of the family nature of the game and to reduce the cost to families a family discount will apply:
- First fee: The most expensive fee – No discount
- Second fee: The next most expensive fee – 15% discount
- Third and subsequent fees: The remainder, in total - 25% discount
- Discounts do not apply to second team fees.
Social (non-playing) members
- This is for non playing persons who wish to be a member of the Seacliff Hockey Club. It also covers them for insurance at the ground and entitles them attendance at all Club functions. Members shall also have the right to receive notice of general meetings andto be present, to debate and to vote at general meetings.
Insurance fees
- The 2012fee schedule includes the insurance fee charges by Hockey SA. If you have already paid the insurance fee for summer or indoor hockey, it will be credited to your annual fees.
